Relevant Security Introduces RS 100
The RS 100 provides up to 100Mbps of continuous, mutual authentication and encryption utilizing patented RPM™ technology to create the most secure network for the transmission of data, voice, and video. Relevant Security provides transaction level security; Authenticating And Encrypting Every Transmission, Every Time, On Any Device, On Any Network.
The RS 100 Network Appliance provides continuous, mutual authentication utilizing 128 or 256 bit AES encryption between the appliances at the transmission level allowing users to know for certain their data is secure while in motion. RS 100 provides the strongest security solution for data in transit on the market by the effective combination of continuous, mutual authentication between devices; encryption of every transmission; dynamically changing authentication and encryption keys of every transaction, all without transmission of security keys.
All Relevant Security appliances support the option of High Availability (HA) configurations through VRRP to ensure maximum uptime. The Revolution Secure appliance can adapt to your network environment as well as easily scale to any changes in the current network topology while providing the highest-grade security in the market.
Combining the flexibility and scalability of bitOS™ and RPM technology, Relevant Security has developed a security network appliance which not only revolutionizes network security but allows for the secure management and provisioning of services and applications for converged networks.
Features and Benefits of the RS 100
RS 100 Feature Grid
| Feature | Description | Benefit |
| RPM Mutually Authenticated Encryption | Each transaction is mutually authenticated at both end points and encrypted with a new AES key. | Maximum securityNo authentication or encryption key is ever re-used |
| FIPS 140-2 (Level-1) Compliant mode | Enhance network security with FIPS compliant modes of operation. | Compliance with the highly secure FIPS 140-2 standard for sensitive data |
| Data link layer (Layer 2) protection | Create a secure network bridge | Compatibility with NetBIOS networks Simplified configuration |
| IP (Layer 3) protection | Create a secured point-to-point or point-to-multipoint link |
Scalability and Performance Granular control of traffic flow through IP firewall rules |
| Static Session Key encryption mode | Single session key for point-to-point link management | Simplified configuration Point-to-point link |
| TLS Handshake mode | RSA used for point-to-multipoint links |
Session management key (from which the AES key is derived) is changed once per hour for even greater security Multi-user/multi-site on a single server interface FIPS 140-2 Compliant mode available |
| Simplified Key Management | Keys generated and controlled from appliance | Static Key or RSA/TLS modes |
