Combining the flexibility and scalability of Linux and RPM technology, RSCorp has developed a security network appliance which not only revolutionizes network security but allows for the secure management and provisioning of services and applications for converged networks.
The RS series of network appliances provides continuous mutual authentication and 128 or 256 bit AES encryption between the appliances at the transmission level allowing users to know for certain their data is secure while in transit. The combination of continuous mutual authentication between devices, encryption of every transmission, as well as dynamically changing authentication and encryption keys with every transaction without passing those keys inside the transaction provides the strongest security solution for data in transit on the market.
The RS appliance multi-personality concept represents a huge shift from standard network devices with fixed port configurations because it enables RS appliances to adapt and scale easily with changes in the topology of the network.
Multi-personality port control permits configuration of the name and operating mode for every physical or virtual port in the RS line of appliances, and exposes these logical interfaces consistently to all device applications.
